2024 Annual Homecoming
IT’S HOMECOMING TIME ONCE AGAIN!
The 64th Annual New Wensley Cemetery Homecoming will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 3:00 P. M., at Providence #1 Baptist Church, Leggett, Texas. Let us come together one more time to praise and worship God for all of His blessings, remember our loved ones and fellowship with family and friends.
The guest speaker for this occasion will be Rev. James Richardson, Pastor of Liberty Primitive Baptist Church, Point Blank, Texas.
This is a momentous occasion in our community and church, for it is our way of showing love and respect for our loved ones who have gone on before us. It is by our coming together we are able to show that our loved ones are gone, but are not forgotten.
We are asking each member to encourage the younger generation to become involved in this occasion in order to keep this celebration ongoing for years to come. Please invite your family to attend. Due to hot weather, please feel free to dress casual.
We would love to see each of you at the homecoming on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 3:00 P. M. Due to the increase cost of the upkeep of the cemetery and the homecoming, we are asking all homecomers for a donation of $35.00 or more for the upkeep, beautification and homecoming for the New Wensley Cemetery. Dinner will be served after the services.
